uhm, about that extension thingie...

my fic's currently at about 25k, and I've only just had Dean freed, but haven't had a chance to get him back together with Sam and John yet. I don't know if I can get to the actual ending before monday, would that be ok or can I get an extension to at least get to a somewhat acceptable ending?

How much longer do you think you'll need? It'll be roughly a week before the claims are sorted out and paired up, so if you think you can finish by then it should be okay.

I'm not entirely sure, I could probably put an ending to it by tomorow, but then the fic would be all hurt, with only a mere mention of comfort and I'd like for the Winchesters to bring Dean back to his true self.

A week should make a lot of difference though.

Just need to get my poor fourteen year old Dean willing to talk, stand up and behave like a human being again, without you know having him coming on to Sam and John the entire time... Should be possible, right?

You can do it! Just include a summary of what's gonna happen for now, then get the rest to your artist ASAP. Should all be good then.

Waves, I'm behind and though I'm pushing and will be close I doubt I'll be finished by tomorrow night. Is it possible to have an extention if I opt out of having any art?

Will you be able to finish by the end of the week? If so, send the summary and you can still get claimed. It'll take a couple of days for the claims to be sorted out anyway.

It's already clear, next round people will have more time to write.

Honestly I don't know. If I was just working on this and it wasn't this time of year, or that there's a new baby (not mine, but still new wee baby around). Where I got hit hard with fluffy/sweet domestic holiday goodness. Trust me its disgustingly stickysweet!

Basically I've found it difficult to concentrate on the dirty/bad/wrong/porn. At least for the piece I'm trying to write.

However I'll continue on and try my best - maybe the porn goddess will smile on me =)

So the latest by the 4th?

That's just for rough draft - it doesn't have to be fully polished, just enough that the artist can work from it.

I need help/guidance/advice/something!

I got started on my story late and have had a hell of a time keeping my mind focused. I'm at 7,600 words now and will be at 10k when I e-mail the rough draft in tomorrow but I won't be done. I've got four more chapters outlined.

But being behind schedule isn't even my biggest problem. I seem to have 5 chapters of exposition and then PWP. My next four chapters are also largely PWP.

If it wasn't the day before the deadline I'd try to get an alpha to look it over but in this situation I'm not sure how to proceed.

And then on top of all that the damn thing isn't even particularly kinky. Jensen is 14 and there's size differential but other than that it's pretty light on the kink.

Anybody got any suggestions/advice? I really don't want to bail on this project!

First up, don't worry about how kinky it is. It doesn't have to be filthy to be considered kinky.
