If this isn't one of the truest, most accurate, love stories of Sam and Dean I've ever read then I don't know what is.

This world you've created is horrifying but still full of so much hope and the basic instinct to survive. I'm in awe.

Dean, even how damaged and scarred up he is, still takes care of everyone especially Sam. Always Sam. He's just wired that way. Your Sam blows me away with how much he loves Dean without a second's thought.

Brilliant.

Oh, my GOD, this was absolutely wonderful. Just--wow. One of the best post-apoc stories I've read, though it hurt to read about Dean all scarred and disfigured. He would still be beautiful to Sam, though, of course he would.

I really love that Sam spoke for the first time in years, out loud, to tell Dean he loves him, before they head out into battle.

The second person POV made it so much richer, more intimate and immediate. I never understand people who say they don't like that POV, because it's probably hands down my favorite. You employed it so very, very well, here.

Absolutely fantastic. Thank you for sharing with all of us :)

Beautiful. Stunningly, stunningly beautiful.

The stories Sam reads to you make you sick, and you're not surprised when Sam gives you that look, that one that says he needs you to be Batman to his Albert Schweitzer. You nod. You're not sure how the two of you will make it work but there's no question that you'll try. It's not the first time you've carried someone out of a fire.

I think this might be one of the best lines I've ever read in fan fiction, Winchester or otherwise. -smiling- I'll be reccing this a little later. Wonderfully written.

Oh, that was cool. I love the little thread of hope through all of it, the hanging on and making do with less and less and still going down swinging. Awesome.

This is a wonderful portrait of what could become of our boys. The details of how Dean had been changed physically (but not broken, not by any means) while in hell are phenomenal and clever - and I think the use of second person in the revelation of how much Dean loves Sam and how, in the weight of loss and sickness, really made the story pop.

So fabulous and clever!
