Ranking 1st Third of the Seasons

It's no secret I've been blown away by the awesome of this season. I got to thinking. Has there been a stronger first third of the season? I jotted down the first 7 eps of all the seasons and gave it some thought. Just to put things in perspective. Its 0346 so I am not gonna expound too much on this. But for me, Season 1 is my happy place. Then Season 2.

When I am more coherent, maybe I will come back and chat some more on it.

I figured S1 would be your overall favorite, but I'm curious about the initial start to the seasons - the first 7 episodes. For me, S1 didn't kick it into totally awesome gear til Home, even though there are real gems in the early episodes, especially Pilot, Bloody Mary, and Skin.

When your brain is fully functioning, give it a thought. It may still be S1 for you.

Wow, that's kind of hard. Based ONLY on the first 7 episodes, I'm gonna say my faves are 6,2,4,3,1,5, but 6,2,and 4 are neck-in-neck!

It WAS hard! I have a real soft spot for S2 coz it was my first, but it really does start out with the knife to the heart and pretty much doesn't let up. This season? *faints*

I think the middle portion of the season is gonna be even harder to rank. Yikes! There's some good stuff!

I really really love this season, but season 5 also had some great eps in the first thirs. I would rank the seasons: 6, 5, 4, 2, 3, 1

I'm so curious to see how and if this season holds up. It's so damn good! We haven't really had any standalone eps. I don't see how they can maintain this pace. Can't wait to find out more.
