As you might have noticed, a lot of the tags are no longer there. I am currently doing a tags cleanup. If there is a certain tag you would like you can request them here.
Lovely suggestion! Hopefully it will inspire some more horror fics. Given that this is a show about supernatural hunters there should be way more horror based stories than there are.
Seconded for horror tag! And maybe one for the Campbells? Or a general minor character tag? :D
Actually, this might be a good time to ask. I have always wondered why there was a genre: gen tag? I assumed that particular designation would be a requirement for all contributions to the comm.
The Campbell folks definitely deserve their own tag (and of course horror).
I think it's time to say goodbye to the gen tag ;) I imagine it was there because someone was just thinking through all the possible genres of SPN and that one popped into their head. There are a lot of comms that I wish had it, but this particular comm definitely doesn't have need of it.
Wow, you have trimmed a lot! I liked the author tags, but as many authors as there are now, I can understand getting rid of them; it will make the tags list considerably less cluttered. And LJ does now have a "Show all posts by author" feature when you mouse over the userhead, so the tags aren't really needed.
Question: Since there are tags for the ficathon and for Summergen, should there be a tag for the Gen Big Bang as well? I'm assuming we're doing it again next year (*looks hopefully at reapertownusa*).
Yeah, Roshni and I talked about the author tags - it was both an issue that there are so many authors that having to scroll through the list makes the rest of the tags more or less unusable and the fact that this isn't a true archive - as in obviously with a website where stories are actually housed you need those author tags so you can find other stories by the author you love. But here folks are mostly referencing back to their journal so if you want to read more stories by that author you can just get them straight from their journal.
As to the Gen Big Bang - oh heck yes there's another round coming! Technically, two since next year we'll do both a mini and a big bang so everyone can play. And some of us can play twice ;)

Thing is, there are several horror writers in the fandom, scattered around, and they do really top-notch work.
