That was perfect. This is exactly the Jo/Kat fic I have always wanted. The characterizations were fantastic, and I loved how gradual their coming together was.

I really adore this line especially:

“Pretty much, I mean, I check in with my parents occasionally, let them know I’m okay. But how can I just go and join a sorority, and study, date, do the whole college thing when I know what’s out there? It’s like knowing the truth is this huge responsibility.”

Because that's exactly the reasoning I see Jo and Kat using to justify why they're hunting. That kind of knowledge IS a responsibility, and going back to live a normal life is problematic for just that reason.

I also really love the open note that this ends on; I can just picture the two of them continuing down the road together and hunting and it makes me happy in my heart-place.
