It’s undeniably the hottest day of the year and her clothes were sticking to her already sticky body as she searched the cave. Jo hadn’t really expected anything or anyone to be in this cave but she also couldn’t afford to be careless not with a shapeshifter on the loose. Her hand aches from gripping the silver knife in her sweaty hand and she wants nothing more to do than go back to the Roadhouse and admit to her mother that she was wrong, that she’s not ready for hunting. But there’s something in her that refuses to give up.
