I really like the snips of thought and emotion here. I like how the birds come back to Sam and then back to birds again. Kind of like how thoughts and memory take their own paths, not anything in a straight line. Lovely writing.

Am so glad you liked--thank you. I love short forms and non-linear stuff (and birds) and the Lisa/birds combination just seemed to lend itself to not-straight lines! (And Sam and birds, maybe even more so?)

This is very different to the usual drabbles, I like it as it says so much in the thirteen lines about Dean's life, I love the image of Lisa stroking his back.
