WOW! I had no idea who/what you were talking about, the fact that it was Dean's beloved Gun - perfect. Next to the Impala, this gun is probably his next best prized possession.

Yes, quite possibly. He is obsessive about caring for that gun, and I'm sure the soul of the gun sees that :)
