Well, pepper in doughnuts really tastes good (for realz guys... that's how my local doughnut shop makes them) so I'm going to go with Dean on this one. Thanks for reading!

I'm with Dean, struesel topping is the best! and much easier than the traditional crust on top (crust is hard to make). Poor Sam, Dean always has to take over :D

I love how the art looks like a drawing and a picture. Very cool!

I do my pies with streusel topping, and I have a BONA-FIDE trophy for winning a pie contest with one.

And yes, very cool art. Forhimxx tried to make me feel less intimidated by claiming that she was "new" to this sort of illustration (she has an AMAZING abstract art portfolio, check it out). But I can see now that she was just being modest.

OMG, this is beyond perfection! Everyone in my family cooks--I improvise and don't measure (which is why I don't make pastry). My husband reads recipes and follows them to the letter. Which is why he makes the pie. So the logic in this story was SO FANTASTIC to my cook's mind!!!!!

I don't know about pepper, but it's pretty interesting what you can do with other sharp, tangy stuff in sweets. Just don't ask me to make pie.

I do my pies by heart, except that bottom crust. I've got the icewater chilling in the fridge for that part, baby.

Wonderful! The thought of the boys in a pie cookoff! I have to admit...the pepper in the pie sounds kind of gross.

Did you have or know of a recipe that has pepper in it?
