This is delightful. I am delighted, my dear. =)

You had me with the first line: "Dean came home from the grocery store with six bags of food and a cat." It's just so blasé.

And I could so see where Sam was coming from when he asked if Dean stole the cat, and the whole idea that there was an interview where Dean was super pleased about winning was just... almost more icing on the cake than I could handle. =)

I am delighted that you are delighted. Dean being super pleased with himself is one of my favourite things.

I considered having it just get into his car and come home with him, but I felt too bad for the previous owners.

BAHAHAHA! Of course Sam would just to that conclusion. I could just picture Dean's 'WTF' face in response to that.

I also love that Dean didn't get a kitten. He rescued a soon to be orphan of sorts. Adorable.

I wanted him to get an older cat. Kittens are cute and lovely, but adult cats are better for cuddling because they are bigger and not as fragile.
