Poor Sammy, he's so used to keeping secrets that he's missed out on a lot of good times. Just imagine if he'd told Dean instead of swanning off to Stanford! I'm glad he finally go it out there in the open, because one thing's for sure. Dean would never have blurted out his feelings like this.
If only, but you're right, it had to be Sam to open up first. Also, I think sometimes, some things just take their own good time before they're ready... in this case it then just need a little helping nudge! Thanks for reading!
This was fantastic. I loved it. I could picture all of this happening.
I wonder what it would be like to cover each of those kisses from the sun with kisses of my own? Who hasn't wondered that?
There were so many great lines in this story. you... stay strange was one of them that had me laughing. "Your powers of deduction are still top-notch despite your injury, I see," said Dean dryly. Totally Dean.
Who indeed!? It was good fun to write... I like to think that Dean's bafflement by the way Sam's mind works sometimes is part of what he likes about him.
Aw, this is so sweet, funny and full of Christmas spirit, I loved it! The banter between the boys was perfectly them, and then when Sam started blurting out the truth it took a different turn but was still so in character. I loved this beautiful line...
He looked visibly surprised but pleased and a cautious smile took birth on his lips. It was, Sam considered, a small, beautiful thing, too delicate for this world and if not looked after carefully, it could all too easily die.
