Type of beta you'd like: I know my grammar (I just choose to ignore it a lot). Mostly I need an Alpha-esque beta who can help me out with my plot b/c I’ve been going back and erasing and rewriting b/c I can’t finalize my plot. Also Dean and Cas voice, canon characterization. If you’re good at dark!fic and noir voices, you will be a god.

Short Summary: For detective Castiel James Novak, being a donor is a matter of both convenience and necessity; it cuts down on his hospital bills, and he’s killing two birds with one stone with the extra income it brings; more importantly, it’s just the twisted kind of penance he needs after what happened to his partner - what he let happen to Gabriel. Dean was turned when he was a boy, and his father has been tiding him over with blood bought off the market and those tabs that numb the hunger but taste like absolute shit. But John Winchester is dead now, has been for a while from leukemia - mother of all fucking irony - and the way Sam looks at him every time he restocks the fridge makes Dean wish he could stick his head under a guillotine. Then he meets Crowley, shady business man under investigation from Dean’s FBI team, who recognizes him for what he is and makes him an offer. He can get Dean blood, fresh and warm, from willing - however dubious - donors in exchange for legal immunity.
