I think an extension would be great. A friend and I were planning to do something, but school kept us both too busy. If we had the summer, I'm sure we could manage to do it.

I love your bakeoff idea and am just an observer, but thought I would give you my thoughts nonetheless. September is an awfully long way away. I suggest that you extend the deadline by one or two weeks max, announce your winners and then perhaps have another bakeoff with a specific theme for later on in the summer. For the people who submitted their entries in a timely maner, it seems a bit unfair to ask them to wait until the fall.

My journal is dedicated to Papa John (please come visit, y'all!) and I am a member on the Jeffrey Dean Morgan fan boards. I will post your winners on the boards and that will hopefully bring you more attention and more entries for your next bake off.

That's AWFUL that the scene fell apart! It sounds like it was really cool. (Although I am a little amused at the concept of Sam's head falling into his lap. ;D)
