Summary: There are some kisses that are more memorable than others. For Sam is the first like a women a special one.
Sam knew she was lucky to have Jessie. To have him beside her all the time during the biggest change she ever done in her life was awesome. At first Sam had not believed the luck, and when it didn't change she was so fortunate. She had more or less counted he would have left her, but somehow it seemed like it just strengthen their relationship.
In the beginning they just had been very good friends, as then when she was Samuel she had felt it weird to make out with a guy. Jessie had somehow managed to get her lose some and they had kissed and began a relationship. Sam had been tired of trying to act as a guy and had told Jessie the whole thing. Pleased that Jessie hadn't run and actually be the best support she could ever have Sam felt more than good.
Even if they kissed before the operation Sam looked forward to the first kiss she would have with Jessie as a woman. It had given her butterflies and she had felt giddy, probably like a little girl only with the difference that she did know how it was to kiss guys or girls. She wondered if it would feel the same or feel like it should.
The kiss became as an award. The first kiss became to mean more than any other, and Sam wanted to give the meaning because for the first time she had been who she always felt and for anyone it was a kiss between a man and a woman. Technically the kiss had not felt that different, but there were no more awkwardness for her. The feeling of how wrong it was for to guys to kiss. Best was also that Jessie was a very good kisser, and Sam knew she would carry that kiss always with her.
