Not the OP, but I absolutely love the twist in this. Jensen starts off so unsure of himself and Jared's commitment to him, but he rises to the occasion and he's exactly what Jared wants and needs. He's kinky and tough and awesome. Scorching hot too!

This is really, really good. I love the worldbuilding, all the contradictions and ambivalences in the story -- how oblivious Jared is to the precarity of Jensen's existence, and yet the odd level of respect he has for Jensen's intelligence and survival skills; the mix of casual, demanding cruelty and possessiveness and even genuine affection. And the way omegas in this society are a combination of respectable little wife and debased sex slave. Crimeboss!Jared is always appreciated, too ;) Not OP, but this fic was an awesome start to my new year. :D
