Round 10: Claims Info - INFORMATION ONLY

Here is all you need to know about claims! On Saturday, July 27, 2019, claims will open at 10am CST. For those who need a refresher, or are totally new to our challenge, see the info below the cut to prepare you for claims.

- First and foremost, proxy claims ARE allowed for whatever reason (not on LJ, won't be around on Claims Day, etc). Be sure to include the original claimer’s name in the claiming template.
- If you are doing a proxy claim and also want to claim your own movie, you must make two separate claims comments on the post - one for the proxy and one for you.
- Each film can only be chosen once per medium (fic, art, audio, etc.), so be fast!
- Authors, artists, audio workers, etc., can choose to collaborate on one piece - just state that you are doing so in the claims post. Only one of you needs to claim your film collaboration!
- Only one claim per person. If you're working with another person, you cannot claim another film to do by yourself during the first round of claims. Once Claims Post 1 closes, we'll open Claims Post 2 (Sunday, July 28 @ 10am CST) and you can choose another film at that time.
- If you missed Claims Post 1, you can still claim your film on Post 2 (Sunday, July 28 @ 10am CST), so long as that film has not been claimed for your choice of media.

If you make multiple claims in one comment, only the first (available) will be counted - we want to keep this as fair as possible!
Once you've posted, have a little patience, and the mod will come by and confirm your film choice (with precedence going to the first available film you've listed, so make sure you list your film choices in the order you'd most like to do them in). If by some stroke of misfortune all three of your film choices have already been claimed, the mod will let you know and then you can make a new claim with three new films -- please do so in a new comment.
As films are claimed, the mods will make a list at the top of the post of the claimed films in the three categories: fic, art, and audio. Please look at the comments if you come in a little late though, as the post may not be completely up-to-date depending on the time.
Remember that choices are final. You can ask for a film change at a later date, but our answer will be no!
We promise that claims made will be honored in the order they are made based on each comment's timestamp on the post. If there are issues with spam comments, we will manage them as they arise. Overall, though, remember this is challenge is all meant in fun. We have always had great participation and only on the RAREST of occasions have there been issues with people not getting the movie they wanted.
