“Why do you keep calling me that?”

Dean sighed.

“Marco!”

“My name is Castiel, Dean. Have you sustained a head injury?”

“It’s a call and response, Cas. I say ‘Marco’, you say ‘Polo’.”

Cas squinted, perplexed. “What is shouting out the name of an equestrian game supposed to indicate?”

Dean pinched the bridge of his nose. “That you hear me. That you’re nearby. Marco Polo was an explorer…”

“Actually, he was motivated more by profit than by a desire to explore…”

Dean threw up his hands, “Jesus!”

“Christ!”

Dean stalked away. Call and response was hard to figure out.
