Hello emme86 ! I kind of did a cross between these 2 prompts you gave: 1.) Balthazar death scene (6x22) + 2) Maybe an ipothetic end with GodCass and Balthazar alive.
When I was drawing this I was thinking: Somehow Balthy anticipates Cas's intent to end him, so Balthy kisses him in a sort of desperate attempt to stop Cas and show him that he is loved. Then together, (maybe with the Winchesters as well) they figure out how to stop Raph and Crowley without having to sacrifice Cas's sanity.
