Because if I had to pick anything to represent my childhood, it would be Harry Potter. I grew up reading the books and watching the films, and I was genuinely gutted when I didn't receive my Hogwarts letter at age 11... *sniffs*
Anyway, most of this batch was experimentation with negative space and/or colour, so feedback would be really helpful! =)

They're lovely! Love 'funny', 'name' (this one is really wonderful!), 'sky' and Cat1. :) Quick feedback this time (avoiding the gigantic comment).
Your use of negative space in AC1, AC4 and AC5 is great. Also I think your sharpening looks way better already, thought I'd let you know. =)
I just noticed two things: the reds in your Cat set look a bit overly saturated to me, like in Cat 4. And perhaps 'excited', 'favourite' and the AC set could do with a bit more contrast/depth. Soft Light layers would do the trick. Unless of course you wanted low contrast on purpose. (Obviously this means I won't say a thing if you point out all the bad things in my next batch. Sorryyyy...)

Yeah, I'm not too happy with my Cat icons (excepting Cats 1&5) but that scene was a pain to colour and I was trying to get them to look vaguely similar to one another there. Obviously didn't quite work! Favourite and the ACs were deliberately low contrast, but I was being lazy for Excited =P

That's not true, it did work! =) Mostly what I noticed was Hermione's hair on Cats 3 and 4, and the way that colouring affected her face. But HP caps can be dark or have that grey feel to them, so they're not easy to work with. And Cats 1, 2 and 5 are good! Gah, feeling bitchy now.
