Gilmore Girls (& A Year In the Life) [21]

So I hadn't done anything as big as a 20-set entry for SUCH a long time that I think I got more and more hesitant to enter a 20in20(ish) contest, but as soon as I saw the insp post I knew I had to icon my new obsession, Gilmore Girls. I initially set out to do the Easy Mode, but then as I went on I found myself wanting to challenge myself a bit more so was going to go for the Normal Mode and actually make some complex icons for once, and then the four sub-themes were just so inspiring and perfect for the fandom that I ended up going for the Hard Mode. For the five 'New Year's Day' theme icons, I chose to use techniques/styles that I want to work on in 2018 - namely animation, text & textures, composition, neon/vibrant colouring, and more text. The five 'Happy Golden Days' icons ended up a mixture of a Christmassy colour palette and family/love themes. The 'Let It Snow' and 'Traced In Constellations' should be fairly self-explanatory, but feel free to ask if you want to know any more about those (or indeed any) icons!
