This film has caused me to cry spontaneous multipurpose tears of joy, catharsis, relief and elation for the last week since seeing it. Someone has finally made a film that gives positive, authentic, non-sexualized visibility to younger queer transwomen, their families, their experiences. The montage of her post-op self-acceptance and femmy-butch/tomboy awakening - and deciding that she doens't want her trach shave resonates with me on such a personal level in so many ways...

... not to mention that she is just so damn hott.
