Worried

So I had a blood test a week ago. Got a letter from the doctor saying I had an elevated white count and he now want an FBC (Full blood count) run.

So should I be panicking?

and googling it.. as you shouldnt coz thats bad every site says

Smoking and too much of mental stress also increases the count of the white blood cells in the body. and infections.

So it could just be well you know normal for you.

Not in the slightest - although how he knows your white cells are up without doing an FBC in the first place I have no idea! Every time you have a cold or an earache you'll have raised white cells. I'm sure I have them right now, in fact!
Bless your GP for wanting to investigate :-)

Hahahaha, that is so true! Painful toe? Cancer. Hair turned green? Cancer. If you must google, go to patient.co.uk, who are at least reliable - I send all my patients there :-)
