Driving in Los Angeles at 4:30 a.m. in the fog while listening to the Postal Service is ridiculously serene and beautiful.

It made my shitty day go poof. In addition to seeing all the poor people in the Cedars Sinai emergency room... Well, let's just say my problems seem petty and ridiculous in comparison.

Yeah. I know. I don't want to go to my class at 11 at this point, but I'm thinking that maybe if I stay up long enough and exaggerate a bit and email him he'll let me pass.

Emergency rooms are not as much fun as you would expect. But they do have British editions of women's magazines, so I guess that's some sort of weird plus.
