[IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT] Event Ending
Hey kids, sliding back from hiatus for a bit to explain the ending of the event.
The ending of the event will be posted Monday, @ 12:00PM EST.
I know the event hasn't exactly gone as many imagined it because of the high amount of our players on hiatus, and I wanna say sorry for that since I know how many people were excited about this and looking forward to it. With so many people busy, not much has advanced as far as I'm sure people would have liked, but I don't want to extend the event along further than intended. You are welcome to backthread as much as you like, though.
However, because of this slowness (also coupled with the fact I probably won't be around long enough to do more than just post it up. let's hope my body proves me wrong there), the ending is going to be a bit different than originally intended. There were originally going to be two posts:
• The arrival of the heroes, and any exchanges or confrontations you wish to have.
• An interruption to whatever you chose to have going on between your villains/heroes (this will apply to all groups) that will end the event and return everyone to Splendor. This post will end/interrupt any current or potential conflicts.
These two posts - the meeting and the interruption/return to Splendor - are still going to go up, but instead of being spaced out like initially intended, they will go up at the same time. This'll be easier for groups who decided to go the peaceful route (since they won't have to wait now), or anyone whose group is M.I.A. Also, it'll ensure both posts actually get up on time, since I know Maki will be busy with school and I can't predict my stomach problems.
Anyway, I hope you guys do have fun enjoying the rest of the event, despite the setbacks. Remember, reserves open this Wednesday, so we've got that coming up after the event too!
