I'm fine with Firo getting injured/murdered as violently as you want, except once he's back he'll be out for revenge. The immortality makes him piece right back together. There are ways to get around that: if you want to cut off a finger, for example, just stick it in a sealed jar and it'll be prevented from reattaching.
