important new member notices
Hey everyone, and Welcome to Splendor! This post is gonna be a quick intro/reminder post for our new members regarding a few things, so make sure to take note!
Here are some quick REALLY IMPORTANT reminders for everyone! You may see this post pop up again once more when all the applications have been processed, just so every new member gets a chance to see it.
• It's wise to check this community every few days, especially the !mod post tag to the side. We make important announcements here every few days, so to keep up, it's best to check in.
• Make sure you've followed all the instructions on your acceptance notice!
• IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TAG YOUR OWN POSTS! Make sure to tag every post you make and comment in with your character's tag. If you've forgotten the format, just check the sidebar on every community, it has the basics in there. Tagging is VERY IMPORTANT because if you, for some reason, miss the activity check, your tags will be what show us your activity.
• Violence-wise, remember a few things:
• Weapons of any sort, if attempted to use against another person, will change into something harmless. (For instance, a gun would end up shooting water, a sword or staff would turn into a blow up toy, etc. It'll change back as soon as the person using it decides no longer to use it.)
• Minor scuffles will probably be overlooked, but if your character is going to get into a big fight that will result in blood and injuries, PM this account and you'll end up having an NPC intervene in the thread.
• ANY action taken against a Local will be intervened with, so if your character decides to start pushing around our quiet lil Locals, IM the aim name joenes is dead or message this account.
