Its a rather lavish hall, one that he's pretty sure doesn't just pop out of the ground and go unnoticed. In fact, Russia's not quite certain of how he got here at all.

[Francis is curious about this chunk of gold he got upon arriving. Now... he's not good at anything involving technology, so he's really not hoping for all that much. It wouldn't surprise him if operating the seal ended in a misfire and the man losing an eye or something.

Outside of being in a strange city with no real recollection of how we got here. [Smiles a bit at that, ever the man of cheer. Or something like that.] Could be worse.

Da. He mentioned Taiwan as well, and that there had been others but they're gone now.

Pfffft. [Yep, he just did that. Covers his mouth to muffle the laughter that's fleeting enough to not be rude.] Russie, you have not been to some of the, ah... finer social gatherings I busied myself with many years ago. I still have a few moments of blank spaces with no hope of connection truth to.

Those were the days. [Of course he'd be wistful about blackouts. However this is muted by the following news. Nose scrunch.] Gone? That does not sound promising...

[Russia just laughs and waves that off.] Frantsiya you're not the only one but its not something most people do.

[His laughter subsides and he nods.] Perhaps they went back home?

I, mon Rus, am not like most people. Don't you forget that. [He's pretty okay with this conversation, Francis. Even though the seal resembles his now-useless phone and he had no luck of mastering such a thing. Shaking his head he tried to keep upbeat] We all have to go to the real world at one point or the other. I think they are just fine. Better than we are.

[Crooning a bit, he does like a playful Russia] Oh I am sure you've pushed aside every thought on every sheet of paperwork on your desk, non? [tut] Oh dieu, our work ethic is going to suffer. Greatly.

[Not like Fran is miserable at paperwork and his house has all of those strikes and... mm. Vacations. Those were nice.]

Oh, I know that I am doing the same. I just like being reassured that I am not alone in this. [Brow quirk] The day I see you lounging around in a bathing suit will be the day I know the world we knew has come to an end.
