[With the rise of the sun, some might notice a new
message placed right in the middle of the notice board, carefully hand written and without any clue pointing towards any specific recipient or writer.
Those, who linger just might catch the attention of the
cloaked figure, that hides itself within the shadows, waiting patiently for someone to

..."Whence they came," huh.

There is no way for him to be sure how much of Riku's memory has remained within his fake, if the not-boy has the ability to connect the words to him, but that is a risk he has chosen to take. It's not much of one, not compared to what can be gained if he played his cards right.
Just like his original, the Replica was walking along the path of darkness after all.
It's not the time to confront him about that, not when he still lacks so many vital pieces, when he still has to find this worlds heart. For now lingering and watching from the shadows, observing what the Replica would make of his message is enough.]

He isn't alone, is he. A smirk crosses his lips before copying down the message on a blank sheet of paper. Lingering here longer than necessary seemed to be a bad omen.]
Why does this sound so...familiar?
[Riku's disappearance... this note. He would continue to watch from the shadows for now, maybe contact with others from his world. Maybe he would find something else out about what happened...
The Replica knows more than he's letting on, but he learned enough from Larxene not to open his big fat mouth.]

[Still, he gets the idea that the poster has some sort of idea. Some way to get out of this place if this "Key" is found. Maybe, anyway. Unfortunately, they haven't left any signs as to who they might be or where they might be found.]
[Asch re-reads the notice and frowns to himself. It could have been written by anyone.]

Someone useful, at last.
But the words are just part of the bait, he has to ensure that their reader is suited for his plans and unfortunately he no longer has pawns like Maleficent and her group of weaklings to do this kind of work for him.
Oh well, time to show himself them.
He floats out of the shadows, silently lingering midair behind Asch.]

[His first instinct is to reach for his sword, but he doesn't draw it from its sheath just yet. Instead, Asch half-turns to face the stranger. Seems like secret identities are gaining popularity these days, and Asch wonders briefly if this person's managed to make any sort of connection, and if not why they're here.]
...Looking for something?

He is right to be of course, for all that Splendor claims itself a safe place, it hardly is and only a fool of a warrior would relax in the face of the unknown.
This mans voice is familiar though, Ansem thinks; Riku must have spoken with him before, though he can't seem quite to recall the occasion. It can't have been important then.
Even so, he decides to stay careful. It wouldn't do, to be discovered just yet.]
Indeed I do. I look for those with open mind, who are unafraid to free themselves from the chains this world imposed upon us.

Of course she wants to escape. She misses her parents, and her new house that she's never seen, and all of the new friends she's supposed to make. Of course she wants to escape.
When she finally does look up, her eyes almost immediately light on the cloaked figure. She freezes like a deer in the headlights, although her expression is more one of curiosity and fascination than fear.]

He has no idea how to fit her into his plans, not yet at least. But there are so many variables to work with and the young were usually easily impressed and all the more easier to influence because of that.
For now he does nothing but float in the air, watching her reaction.]

Find the key in our hearts and return home, is that it? [He smirked. He felt a bit odd. He wanted to return home, almost feeling.. Homesick.]
Interesting riddle... [He re-read it a few times, interestedly trying a dozen different methods in his mind to try to decipher it.]

Ultimately there is a little less interest than Ansem had hoped, but then again... most likely there are just too few with the ability to grasp the meaning behind his words.
That is just fine, of course; he does not have the time and patience to teach understanding to those who will never posses it anyway. It makes those who do have it all the more valuable, though, and the need to approach them all the greater.]
Not quite I fear, but close.

Close, huh? Jade thought briefly. Maybe it was suppose to mean that their hearts were the keys. He was never good at messages about hearts, but he couldn't help but be curious.]

It is a mysterious thing, the heart, mysterious but filled with so very much potential. But how could it not be; it is after all the very foundation on which all existing worlds and beings are built on.
[He turns his head ever so slightly to other.]
One does have to wonder, just what the Heart of a world with powers like Splendor would be like. And perhaps... a look at the Heart of the world that keeps us prison would hold more answers than just a mere look inside ourselvess.

It would be so much easier, he could just give in and have all the love he might ever want...He grits his teeth and walks onward, clinging to the refreshing sting of pride in his chest. It grows dimmer and dimmer, however, and his struggling more bitter, as he presses forth- until eventually, he passes the message board. He had no intention of reading it, but one very particular message catches his attention ( ... )

He almost relishes the feeling; in this world so filled with light dark spots like this one are so terribly hard to find.
Yes - it would not take much to sway this one, he can feel it, practically taste the despair in the air that surrounds the boy. It seems that he might found his heart of darkness at last.
He approaches carefully, as if in concern, his voice almost a soothing whisper when he finally speaks up.]
What is bothering you, child?

The query catches him off guard, but he replies swiftly and falsely.]
I am fine. Please... I have...
[He winces quietly and seems to soften, or perhaps weakens, but he doesn't care to ponder which to himself as he continues more calmly.]
I have matters I must attend to... [And that, at least, is the truth. He finds his gaze searching out the notice on the board again, trailing over the letters, longing to act on them somehow. If he could only do one final deed...]

The boy's lie is so very obvious of course, his denial weak and the longing with that he gazes at the note is very hard to ignore.
Yes... this child... he just might be perfectly suited to be shaped into the last missing piece.]
Do you? I cannot help, but notice though... it seems like you are searching for something. Something to mend those wounds in your heart, perhaps?
