Part of me wants to, but that's just going to start a cycle that I've lived through too many times. I want to try and stop the pattern.

But- It doesn't bother you that a killer's gonna go unpunished? If he's got any sense he won't attack again if somebody teaches him a lesson.

He deserves to be found and punished, but not because he killed me. He deserves it because his actions were wrong.

[He's having a hard time figuring out if he believes what he's saying, because a part of him really does want revenge, but he knows it's not going to help.]

I guess I'd just rather see him punished for his actions as a whole, rather than just my death. That part doesn't matter.
