[He had almost been curious to see who would arrive. But not enough to stay near that place all day - just to gaze around at the people for a minute, then leave.

That was all he was going to do. No hopes were riding on this, none at all. For all he knew, nobody was coming back from his world.

And, depending on who it was, that could be a good thing.

Though as he was leaving the area, he hears a voice that was enough to give him pause.

There was no mistaking that bright pink hair, and he would've even been stupid to doubt the voice in the first place. He knew it all too well, didn't he?

Does she remember what happened? Does she remember what Suzaku told her, of her passing and Lelouch giving her that fatal shot? Remembering things from here wasn't unheard of, but unlikely.

Who's to say that she hasn't experienced that herself? But by the looks of her, that's unlikely as well.

So he approaches her, trying to keep his face blank of his thoughts, save for a small smile on his face. A forced smile, but it's not one that would easily be seen through.
