It was his finely tuned sense of detail that told him something is no longer here. The little lived-in details were suddenly absent from the room, and a quick check of the first bedroom

[ Stuck to Kid's front door will be a little silk bag. The string wrapped around it is sloppily done, showing lack of skill in sewing, but there is a floral-decorated card clipped to the side. Inside it will read:

I owe you a rose garden. ]

[ Kid finds the bag, stares at it in bafflement, not knowing what it refers to nor what he's supposed to do with it. He'll carry it inside and put it on the dining room table (in the exact middle, of course) and there it will sit because he is simply not in the mood right now for riddles. ]

[ Later that night, there will be two small pots with a light pink rose and a white rose, sitting before the door. Another note attached will say:

These will be the start. ]

[ Kid stands in his doorway with his hands on his hips, looking down at the pots. ]

I'm afraid allusions aren't my strong suit.

[there is a cup of tea-bags tied fancily. no need for initials, the flowering seal of two swords and wings is evidence enough. ]

[ Kid finds the gift and is touched by it; shortly thereafter, a message is sent to its giver. ]
