[ Walking along the pathways of the City Zoo appears to be a young blond woman. Though to be honest, the young 'woman' happens to be a rather annoyed certain Alice who had the urge to escape the ever present cabin fever of his apartment. You see he had locked himself in there for a number of days. No longer able to take the boredom his home

[sheer idleness drove him to the zoo, but curiosity had made him stay. he wasn't particularly bothered by animals in cages (the circus, after all, did have its fair share of that), and since they didn't seem terribly bothered . . . well, it wasn't that much of a waste of time, anyway.

he hadn't really meant to eavesdrop(?) on the girl(??) while he was looking at the giraffes, though. well, maybe he hadn't, but his snakes did make a business of it. and so the snakes, not being the brightest, begin to discuss it. what makes a human like a giraffe? asks byron. well, they certainly smell the same, says wilde. it's looks, not smell, clamors eliot. smell is looks is taste, explains boswell.

... and so on. a few of them twist toward alice, flicking out their tongues at him in order to better gauge their arguments. snake himself just sort of watches the discussion ensue, occasionally looking between them, alice, and the giraffes. hm . . .]

I knew a person who had cat ears before. Real ones that moved a bit. Also know a man around this place with a pair of rabbit ears. I think that's all I've met...

Well there was Lady Caterpillar... but she could be a worm if she wanted. She doesn't look anything like a worm in her real form though! She's really cute actually and-

I mean to say, it's becoming pretty normal to run into people with animal features for me!

[ah . . . even though quite a few people in splendor seemed to be okay with is skin, it was still a shock whenever he met people who didn't mind admitting it. so ... this girl, seemed like a nice person, at least...]

A really confusing place, so I guess I could say I feel kinda' at home here.

[ He turns partially, eying up at one of those dull eyed tall things, seemingly chewing on leaves. ]

There was.. a lot of rules to follow there. A lot of people following them. I twisted sort of game I had to play too. I mean- [ He glances back over to the man- well, snakes. ] -When I was there anyway. Here I've been told I shouldn't have to play the game.

But you see, I sorta made a promise. So, I'm going to have to finish what I started.
