Though to be honest, the young 'woman' happens to be a rather annoyed certain Alice who had the urge to escape the ever present cabin fever of his apartment. You see he had locked himself in there for a number of days. No longer able to take the boredom his home

[ and what kind of gentleman would mukuro be if he were to let such a lovely young lady wander about unaccompanied? especially in these troubled times, where the rowdier occupants of splendor take to running about amok, harassing innocent bystanders. it simple wouldn't do.

(though perhaps the look of almost unholy glee on his face leaves much to speculation)

so here he is, on this fine day, hands in his pockets and peering upwards at the giraffes, head cocked to one side, eyes sliding from the animals, to alice. he laughs. ]

If you were to squint, and tilt your head, the resemblance is uncanny.

[Gamzee has been here for a very long time. Looking perhaps like a stalwart sentry placed by the gods to gaze watchfully over these majestic beasts, Gamzee stares up at them. The sun catches his amber eyes like warning flare, but he notices not.]

[The heat, and perhaps majesty makes him shed a silent tear.]

Damn. DAMN what tricks did you motherfuckers all turn what got you so tall?

[ Woah who is that guy over there? For whatever reason the strange guy standing a few feet away seems more interesting to look at than the docile tall creatures above Alice.

Was that face paint and horns? Was he part of a festival going on?
They seemed continuous back in Wonderland after all.

Wait--- he seems to be talking to the Giraffes. . .

He lifts a hand, forcing a cough into it as he turns his head away. Yep. Just got to keep quiet. ]

[It was the cough what cought (hee hee) his attention. Gamzee slowly turned a bushy haired head towards the dude and he raised not a hand in gesture, but waved with his words. Why was that dude so far away?]

[ What kind of language is that? If the guy wasn't saying it in such a lax tone he'd think he was being insulted. ]

[sheer idleness drove him to the zoo, but curiosity had made him stay. he wasn't particularly bothered by animals in cages (the circus, after all, did have its fair share of that), and since they didn't seem terribly bothered . . . well, it wasn't that much of a waste of time, anyway.

he hadn't really meant to eavesdrop(?) on the girl(??) while he was looking at the giraffes, though. well, maybe he hadn't, but his snakes did make a business of it. and so the snakes, not being the brightest, begin to discuss it. what makes a human like a giraffe? asks byron. well, they certainly smell the same, says wilde. it's looks, not smell, clamors eliot. smell is looks is taste, explains boswell.

... and so on. a few of them twist toward alice, flicking out their tongues at him in order to better gauge their arguments. snake himself just sort of watches the discussion ensue, occasionally looking between them, alice, and the giraffes. hm . . .]

[ It didn't take him very long to catch onto the idle glances of many eyes aimed his way, humans or otherwise. Considering he was on edge being incognito as it is-- made him more or less, paranoid of his surroundings.

But all of this was worth it to get out of that apartment and escape that creepy gaze of his younger room mate with the strange eye and even weirder laugh. ]

[ ERK-- he coughs into a hand pretending as if he has something stuck in his throat before he continues, this time in a girly-tone of voice. ]

A-ah I mean! Dear sir you seem to be crawling with snakes!

[ HE IS SO CONVINCING, THAT IS SO NOT AN ADAM'S APPLE WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT IT'S RUDE TO STARE. ]

[ hey, guess who managed to wander off all the way to the zoo, and for the sole purpose of finding your gorgeous, overly adorned self! of course he's just walking casually, maybe a bit distracted by the animals, but his goal is still there.

and the best part is-- he's not alone! ]

[ --heya. elliot is kind of disturbed by the zoo and so help you if he sees some hares or something jumping around in a cage.

anyway, he doesn't even looked bothered by the fact that they've been wandering along for days absolutely lost. because people do crazy things when they're in love!! and with his great powers of observations, he doesn't think twice about the blond girl because that's obviously not alice. ]

[ Yep... giraffes. These are giraffes and they don't look like him even in the slightest way. Don't mind him touching at his own neck faced away over here. Yep, he doesn't have a super long neck at all! This is a fully normal length neck!

Oh-! He hears a familiar voice, turning to pass a glance half way over his shoulder--- OHWHYTHEFSDFDSFARETHEYHEREGTFOGJDGF. Facing completely forward again, stiff as a board.

They'll pass by, yeah, they don't care about women!!

Wait why the hell are those two walking together anyway... he could have sworn Elliot had it out for Ace...

[ because they're in love and on a not-date. in fact he had been enjoying elliot's company for the last, uh, well, he can't measure time properly yet but it's sure been awhile!!

after coming to terms with his feelings for elliot and deciding to kill him and see what that would generate, he was hit with the realization that his feelings for alice were still there, as well. so if he loves two people it's clear one of them must go, right?

and speaking of that someone--

yep, he spots alice right there. normally he wouldn't have bothered with this run-of-the-mill foreigner, but it just so happens alice chose the one costume that makes him look the most-- alice-y!! so he can't help and stare, tapping elliot with his elbow to get his attention. ]
