[Asch doesn't notice until he's climbed over the sand dunes back up to the main path. He's half expecting Nura to have already come flying after him to be even more of a bother. But no.]

[And yet something seems off. Something to do with his left hand. Asch raises it to his face, slowly unballing his palm and discovers that there is, in fact, an unfamiliar ring. Right there. He doesn't know where it came from, but there are only two possible explanations: either the city's feeling generous or someone wished it there.]
