[Firo had been loitering by the water when Alex made his rather dramatic entrance. Firo makes his way over, hand raised in greeting.]

Hey, pal, you alright?

[immamartillo]

[Now he's getting a little annoyed; his name really isn't that weird! He narrows his eyes.]

Well, hello, Mr. "Not strange." Now do ya mind tellin' me what had you so freaked out?

[mongoosegrin]

[teeth flash out of the side of his mouth with his smile.]

Yes.

[immamartillo]

[Firo waits expectantly for an explanation before he realizes that the answer means "yes, I do mind."]

Oh? And why's that?

[mongoosegrin]

[he only takes a second to respond, a loud, hissy whisper.]

Because I'm leaving. [surprise!

he rolls himself up by the balls of his feet in a fluid motion, stepping over any excess Firo in his path as he starts a fast walk toward the tree line.]

[Whoa. Firo is left staring dumbly as Alexander makes his speedy exit. He takes a step to follow, but then stops. Maybe it would be best to stop bothering the poor guy.]
