[There's a strange descent of peacefulness once night comes. It lays over the residents and takes them into a deep sleep. Soft sleep. Sweet sleep. A phantom walks the city, a smile to her features, while somewhere, her double sleeps deeply in a bed, wrapped in sheets and blankets

[Even though they were technically Asch's mother and father, not his... except they sort of were, too... they'd accepted him...]

For an average human male and female, the way of making a baby is sexual reproduction.

Average...? So there's a different way?
[He is for the record, starting to feel a little uncomfortable. He's not quite sure why yet. Maybe something he's heard once, or something like that...]

[she procures a video player from behind her back.]
We're wasting time, here is a graphic video about sex for you to watch.
[she sets it in front of him and presses 'play'. She then gets up and walks out of the room.]
Have fun.

He watched the screen absolutely confusedly. The confusion rose exponentially when the screen started to show a movie clip, with colors inverted and upside down. What the hell...? Luke stared at it for a long time... before recognizing it as a clip from one of the movies he'd watched with Ion last week.
Ugh... there was no point in watching this again if he'd already seen it, not to mention the colors made his eyes burn. Getting up, Luke decided to see where Nura had gone.
And found himself in a long hallway with a very familiar color scheme. Luke groaned. Lost in Daath's cathedral. Brilliant.]

[says a voice from down the hallway. she stands, tall, female, woman, dressed in white with a sun hat.]
The confused hero at a crossroads.

I'm just lost... [Luke scratches his head. He could wander around until he found one of those priest guys who would send him back to the entrance, or he could go around trying doors to see if they went anywhere...
... option B it is then.
He goes around, trying doors, unfortunately, most of them seem to be locked. He finally glances back towards Nura]
Do you know which way to go?

[a breeze goes through the halls. Nura points up above her.]
To the bells.

The bells?
[He's never been to the very top of Daath cathedral before. Were there bells up there?
...only one way to find out.
He looks down. His face is shining with a long-forgotten look of excitement - at just being able to be out in the world, exploring and learning things.]
What's the fastest way to get up there?

The stairs, of course.
[she points.]
C'mon. I'll race ya there.

[And with that, he's off in the direction she pointed. Nobody ever said he learned to play fair (if his cheating at hide and seek is anything to go by)]

[The pot is calling the kettle black here, but oh well. Luke sprints up the stairs, taking them two to three at a time, somehow not tripping through all of this. Finally, he bursts out through a door at the top, and... he can only guess they're there.
The view is much higher up than Daath's cathedral actually would be, and the land around them might not look quite like the view around Daath (the sky might've been an odd color too, but it wasn't sickly red-purple, so who was watching?), but it was still a nice view, that he stopped and just... stared for a while, his earlier competition momentarily forgotten.]
