[ there are simple, makeshift tables in the courtyard, with one long table. on this long table is platter after platter of fresh fresh sashimi. Sliced into equal pieces, decorated to absolute perfection. Chopsticks, soy sauce, ginger, wasabi -- all the condiments are neatly lined up along the decorative platters

[ mukuro does not mind if he does, in fact. helping himself, that is!!

although no one saw him enter the courtyard, if you turn around, there he is at the end of the table -- another of those sharp, sharp knives having found its way into one of his hands, the metal reflecting a sliver of an idle, languid smile complemented by a glint in the red eye.

with a small dash of wasabi and arguably too much ginger (for the sweet tooth) -- mukuro will be working through the thinly sliced tuna, now. never mind that there's almost more ginger than fish. ]

Nostalgic, isn't it.

[ Yamamoto views him with amusement, before he simply goes over, delicately taking the knife back from him -- because if there is one person who should not be allowed to have something sharp in his hand, it's Mukuro.

Not that he doesn't trust him, but -- well.

He's smiling, because he chuckles at the fact that ginger is looking to be Mukuro's main dish of the day, with the sashimi as mere condiments. ]

Nostalgic? I didn't know you liked sashimi.

[ and if mukuro's grasp tightens even briefly, it would be all but unfelt. the knife goes without incident or protest, although you probably have the sense of that gaze lingering on your back, yeah?

confiscation. all right, he'll play along. whether today will be as memorable as mukuro's previous visit to the Carter Estate remains to be seen. ]

[ Of course he does, but Yamamoto dismisses it. Mukuro has mellowed out through the years. Little by little; perhaps it's an illusion, perhaps it isn't, but he's a part of the family, and Yamamoto doesn't share the open dislike/distrust some others in the Vongola do about him.

In fact, Yamamoto reckoned that Mukuro can be quite the pleasant chap from time to time, so. ]

[ oh! this one's familiar. yamamoto's surprised -- having never expected to see him, but pleased all the same. ]

[ poor byakuran :'(((((( Yamamoto takes a few moments to register the voice, but only barely, because he sounds pretty bad :(

Though, that is enough for Yamamoto to pause, his reception very much cooler. Can't be helped; this is the guy who's responsible for his dad's death, after all. ]

Aaah being sick is really awful, isn't it? All that food of yours has made me really depressed!

[ and Yamamoto picks up on the fact that he sounds really, really bad -- but nonetheless, he asks him the question he's been wanting to ask for awhile now, ever since he'd seen him around on the network. ]
