Yeah. I was going back home befoer I came here... and now that it's gonna be Mother's Day, I'm kinda wondering what's going on back home.

[You don't travel with people for as long as Dawn traveled with Ash without really getting to know them. And Dawn liked to think as one of Ash's best friends, she knew him well enough to know when he wasn't really okay.

Eight months being stuck here? Without being able to see anyone else, not even over the phones? Seeing what tommorow was on the calender? Dawn might not have had Brock's keen mind but she wasn't dumb and she was pretty good at reading her friends. And while she didn't always know the best way to cheer her friends up, she liked to try.

Which is why she decided to head up to the alpine district with a plate of cookies and poffins(the latter for Pikachu and Piplup to share)]
