So I hear this place grants dreams or wishes. I doubt this to be true, for I sense no grail here nor can such a thing exist without severe consequences. Have any of you mongrels had marginal success with such nonsense?

[Don't mind him, he's always this rude. But give him some useful info and you might get a pleasant surprise.]

Hey, pal, if you're lookin' for help, ya might not wanna go about it like that. And if you really want an answer, why doncha' try it out?

Why would I try something if I won't get results? That's what peasants are for.

You don't know you won't get a result. So then wouldn't your result be the information that either it can or can't work? Only excuse for not tryin' it out if you're lazy or chicken.

A king has the right to be lazy. But if you are implying I am a coward, then I will take your head right now.

Splendor's power is quite real, though I won't deny that it comes with consequences at times. These sorts of abilities always do.

You seem level headed enough. But if it isn't worth my while, I refuse to bore myself.

That's your business.

Indeed it is. The right of a king can be questioned by no one.

Only ignorant.

Explaining to a mere brat is hardly worth my time, but I might reconsider if you agree to entertain me.

[This. She does not approve of where this is going, even if it has nothing to do with her as she suspects]

What is the matter, little king? Don't look so cross.

You are the matter.

Are you angry that I left your side for so long? That was your own doing, Saber.
