     Characters: logisticates and patternprophet.
Where & When: A store in the Metropolis District, 05/04.
Rating & Why: Probably doesn't have the potential to go much over PG-13, for robot-AI shenanigans?
Summary: Delta got pawned! And like any princess in a tower AI in a USB key, he needs a helping hand.

Logically, this place should not exist. )

[Leoben had gotten into a habit of exploring the city. With the way things were, he had the distinct feeling that every time he did, he would discover something or someone new. The number of surprises that he could encounter here was amazing, and he was getting used to the feeling of not knowing. Much as he didn't like that part.

And that was how he found himself entering a little pawn shop. While not unfamiliar, it was the type of store Leoben hadn't really expected to see here. If there was no money, what use could the locals have for it? Regardless, it was worth exploring.

The shop was quiet, as were most in Splendor. Leoben had given up trying to indulge any of the locals in conversation. He glanced around the store for a moment, and was about to leave before something caught his eye. A small piece of technology, but one that seemed oddly foreign for Splendor.

It would be worth looking at]

The sense of movement was abrupt, and Delta halted in the internal systems diagnostic. He had very little impression of the outside world, and he took a moment to search his memory banks for an applicable human sensation or experience. Sensory deprivation, perhaps? He was aware, but little else. That he had not offlined himself was a matter of obeying South Dakota's orders to the letter. Simply, she had not asked him to.

Still, her orders stood. If it was the Meta that held him, he would no doubt meet him soon enough. Without command protocols, there was little else he could do. However, depending on the nature of who held him, they might note a faint curiosity emanating from the storage unit.]

[It hadn't taken Leoben long to start examining the piece, trying to discern what sort of technology it was, and if it was more or less advanced than the technology he was accustomed to. In both the Colonial and Cylon sense.

He had the sense that it held something more to this piece of equipment that met the eye. And so, he kept fiddling with it, until he heard a click, and assumed he'd turn it on]

[Delta manifested accordingly, a small green hologram, encased in the ghostly edges of the MJOLNIR armour class. The magnum he held was merely for show.

He tipped his head to one side, examining not only the man who had activated him but also his surroundings. Logically speaking, he knew he was 'not in Kansas any more', and this man was not the Meta. Nor was he a Freelancer.

Curious.]

Hello, I am intelligence program designation 'Delta'. How might I be of assistance?

[Despite the circumstances, he thought it best to be courteous.]
