Vanitas followed, a bit annoyed and miffed that a handful of idiots--this brat especially--refused to let him be. However, curiosity was keeping him in check for now, as was the threat of two strong light wielders were nearby. Not to mention what seemed to happen when violence began; he was still a bit roughed up and not in the same condition he was back before the factory explosion but in his mind?

The violence was worth it; just to have seen the expression on Xehanort's face when he attacked.

He looked around a bit, raising an eyebrow. Of course it was ocean-themed since the kid was from an island. It was to be expected, really. However, that book on the bedside table garnered little interest.

...Better not look just yet. "You know, I almost expected a few more palm trees." He rolls his eyes inwardly at that flippant comment, casually glancing at the half-made wayfinders. Heh. So he believed in that pathetic legend, too?

"There really aren't that many on my island," he says, answering Vanitas' question. He hurries over and forces the curtains open, grinning widely as the sun pours in. Then, he nods and looks around. Hm... Any other way to make this place more homey? ...Oh, wait, he knows!

"...Do you like ice cream?"

"Oh, really?" He's pretending to be ignorant, sort of. After all he doesn't know that the island he briefly visited once and the one Sora is from are one and the same. Vanitas blinked at the sudden extra light, letting his eyes adjust behind the visor of his mask. He would have taken if off already if it weren't for wanting to keep his appearance hidden from at least Mickey. Stupid mouse living in the same place as the brat...

No, no that wasn't a grudge you were hearing; none at all. And that question was stupid. After all, Ventus spawn. "... Yes."

Sora doesn't know that, Van.

"Okay! Wait here, I'll go get some! I have a secret stash in the freezer!" he says. And then, he walks to the door, opening it before looking back. There's that big grin on his face, wide and bright.

"Just sit down and relax! When we're done with ice cream, I have some board games we can play!"

And then, Sora's gone from sight, footsteps pounding down the hallway.
