Heh. I actually mapped out the trip. I put Jack's cabin in way NE MN, outside of Ely , so I figured they'd sort of diagonally across from CO and come up into MN from Iowa on I35 (or they'd head north in CO and cut across SD on I90 and then pick up 35. Or possibly pick up state highway 23 in MN and cut across to I35). From I35, they'd take Minn 53 to Minn 169 to get to Ely, but they could also take 61 to 1. It's longer, but 61 runs right along Lake Superior, which would sate Teal'c desire to see the lake.
It comes out to about 900 miles, so with multiple drivers, it's doable in a day of straight driving, assuming no major construction or weather delays. And they are just that nuts.

WHAT would comple someone to decide that a road trip to No.MN by way of Lake Superior FROM CO Springs was a good idea????
