My estimate of an hour to finish the draft was a little optimistic (it ended up being more like three hours), but five minutes ago I flailed about gleefully and uploaded the completed (mostly - just missing the conclusion and who needs one of those?) draft rationale and emailed it off to my advisor, hoping he assumed I meant late Tuesday
