Congrats to squealnakedcatj and his wife on their first wedding anniversary! Here's hoping there are many more happy years together to come. *crosses fingers*

Ya'll probably know that I am a big fan of Stargate SG-1 -- I have the first seven seasons on DVD and hope to get the eighth one soon. It's on my birthday/Christmas wish list! I do have a minor (and ( Read more... )

I'm a big fan of knowing what you're buying before you buy it ;) Just because the pilot show was good doesn't mean the WHOLE rest of the season was. I personally do not know since I don't watch it (just not interested in it)... so yeah, I'd suggest watching a few episodes first and go from there. If you DO decide you would like to own it, then I'd put it on your wish list ^_^

As for your hopeful icon... silentknight can *probably* fix it... He's working on that now.

I'm surprised you didn't say anything about your brother and sister-in-law! Repressing something? ;)

Shweet!!! What did you use to do that? I'd like to learn how to make animated GIFs for myself. Any tips?

Thanks! :)

I used Adobe Image Ready. It's a tad expensive if all you want to do is make animated gifs. There are certainly cheaper programs out there.

Such as? I assume you use Adobe Image Ready because it's more on a professional level and you need it as a graphic artist. Any suggestions for little ol' me?

Stargate Atlantis is great, I've been watching it on Sci-Fi since the first episode, and I believe I've seen the entire first season and a few episodes this past season (wedding planning and an SO does tend to reduce TV watching time :-) and am very impressed with it. I would venture that it's better now than SG-1 has become, although I've missed most of this season there as well. SG-1 has so many key characters gone, and has pretty much started over plot-wise, while Atlantis, although still starting itself, seems to have pulled things together very well, with a following larger than that of SG-1 for most of last season I think!
