I'm currently on the first editing phase of mine (114,000 words). My (mainly recycled) advice is first and foremost to get it finished. When you feel like starting over, don't! You can rework it in the edit. To quote one author "when you've written it, rewritten it and then rewritten it again - then you're ready to submit it ( ... )
