Oooh... that is reference book porn. Yes. I must have one.

I'm having a hard time coming up with reference books for writing yet, but if you ask me about autos, musical instruments, meditation, and other arcane topics, I have a short list.

I'm not even a writer, but now I want that book. :D I bet I would've loved it back in my poetry days. I guess the closest I have to a reference book now is an anthology of Rush songs from 1980 to 1985. It's helped me come up with song ideas more times than I can remember.
