I believe it was Christmas when my Dad brought over a bottle of Rose, knowing how much I've grown to like this non-zinfandel pink wine in recent years. Come have some of my Rose! Maybe we can get some Looza and fizzy water and turn it into non-alcoholic Kir, and pretend we are back in France...

Recipe does sound yummy! I think a Rose Kir drink is going to be the way to go. We can have outdoor cocktails together!
You'll get to meet Sydney when you come back East: she's experimented with making pineapple vinegar, w/o any mother or starter vinegar at all. That is pretty hardcore, but she's a professional chef, thus much more systematic than I am.
