Mary's Office - Monday

Mary is sitting in her office drinking tea.

This is not unusual, what might be unusual is that there is a huge cobra coiled around the chair on the other side of her desk

Molly stopped by before class to give Miss Poppins her make up report. She knocked on the door frame before she caught sight of the cobra. "Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt."

The cobra had sensed movement as Molly neared the door and had already turned to taste the air in that direction when she appeared in the door to knock.

"That's quite alright Molly. We're just passing time until class. You have something for me?"

"I came to give you my report in dolphin of the conversation I had with a dog," Molly said politely as she stepped into Mary's office.

"Thank you very much Molly." Mary said reaching out for the report. "I look forward to reading it. May I introduce my cousin? He's going to be our guest speaker this week."

Lana stopped by after work to let Miss Poppins know she'd be bringing Panther!Jim to class with her.

Panther!Jim stopped dead when he saw the huge cobra and promptly hid behind Lana's legs.

The cobra had sensed the movement and was already looking their way when they came in the door.

"Hello Lana, I see you have a friend with you."

"Hello, Miss Poppins. Yes, this is my boyfriend, Jim." She smiled at her teacher a little ruefully. "He's not usually a black panther. I just wanted to make sure it was okay for me to bring him to class today. I can't really leave him alone, so..."

Panther!Jim was still hiding behind her, peeking out at the snake with wide eyes.

The cobra licks the air in their direction curiously.

"That's fine Lana. Any well behaved creature is welcome. If Jim is still in this form when we cover the language of cats he can even help with the class." She turned to Jim and addressed him. "Would you like that?"
