I was in the 5th/6th grade in '99, and such a little prude ^.^ I'd have probably fainted if I knew I'd be obsessed with gay pr0n slash/fandom. I can't really think of anything else that you don't have on yor list, other than maybe: "You won't care what the 'popular people' think of you, and you will fully embrace your geekiness!"
I gotz a job and I start tomorrow! I'm nervous as hell and I really want it to go well. Other than that though, nothing else exciting. School still going okay for you?
I was in the fifth grade ( i got held back in 7th so i graduated in 07 instead of 06) i was obsessed with pokemon, x-men, and dragon ball z and had sworn i would never read slash it wasnt untill 2003 when a friend sent me a story dealing with wolverine and scott that i got hooked. It wasnt until i saw the star trek reboot that i came into this fandom and that was over 8 months ago i cant believe what i had been missing. though if i could go back in time i would have told my self to give slash a chance even though i was in fifth grade.

Also - Remember these words: Prequel, Sequel, Threequel, Remakes, Reboots. You'll be hearting a lot of those words in the upcoming years. lol
