Unstoppable Review

So tonight I got tickets to the sneak preview of Unstoppable.  For those of you who have been hiding under a rock, it's a movie directed by Tony Scott (Top Gun) that stars Denzel Washington (Frank Barnes) and our very own Chris Pine (Will Coulson).  The entire movie is set around stopping this runaway train.  Denzel and Chris's ( Read more... )

I really want to see it! I don't know if I'll be able to next Friday (I don't drive, and my friend's car is in a rather dire state atm), but I'll certainly try! Last weekend I went to see Paranormal Activity 2 and was very distracted by CFine's lovely face on the movie posters. Oh, that man...

Dang, that sucks! At least you know it will be worth the wait. Did you have to see XI months later too? I don't think I could've handled that. O.o

There's some kind of method to it, though I haven't figured it out yet. Star Trek opened here on the same date as in the US (which means we probably got it some hours earlier than anyone else, actually, First Country to See the Dawn, and all that), and the Potter movies always open here at the same time. But Red was two weeks after the US opening, one week after the UK opening, and it looks like we'll have to wait even longer for Unstoppable. The Last Airbender opened incredibly late here, not that I'll be seeing it. *shrugs* It's nice to have something to look forward to, though it can be annoying trying to dodge spoilers.
